Textured men's haircut in Budapest: the technique
A textured cut isn't a separate hairstyle – it's a technique we use in most of our styles. At LORINCZ Studio (Almafa utca 33, 1171 Budapest) we work with scissors and point cutting so your hair moves, holds and can be styled at home in a few minutes.
What is a textured cut?
It's a cut where the hair doesn't sit as one solid block but separates into pieces. We put the texture in with scissors: with point cutting and internal layering we remove excess weight, while keeping length where you need hold. The result is hair with movement and a matte, natural finish that holds its shape better. Which styles use it?
- Precision, scissor-only styles (Precision Cut, approx. 60 minutes): middle part and slick back, flow, mod cut, mullet, scissor-only haircut.
- Shorter styles (Classic Haircut, approx. 45 minutes): the top of a warrior cut is always textured; the top of a short men's haircut or a taper on request.
Does it work on curly and wavy hair?
Yes. Curly and wavy hair already has most of its texture, so we build the cut on the natural fall of the curls and don't over-thin it.
Styling at home
Spray a little sea salt spray into half-dry hair and blow-dry it in the direction you want. Finish by separating it into pieces with a little matte clay or matte pomade. Clay is better for stronger hold, pomade for a looser finish.

Often, yes, because texture makes hair look fuller. At the consultation we'll check how much layering your hair can take.
