Men's hairstyles at LORINCZ Studio, Budapest XVII
LORINCZ Studio is a men's barber in Budapest's District XVII (Rákosmente), at Almafa utca 33. Our main speciality is scissor work: we cut longer, precision styles with scissors only, with no clipper fade.
The style decides which appointment to book:
- Precision Cut, approx. 60 minutes: middle part and slick back, flow, mod cut, mullet and scissor-only haircut. These are cut with scissors only, no fade.
- Classic Haircut, approx. 45 minutes: short men's haircut, warrior cut and taper. Here the sides and nape are done with clippers, the top with scissors or clippers.

Precision styles: scissors only, no fade
Precision Cut · approx. 60 min
Flow
Ear- or collar-length hair that falls back and moves naturally. We layer it with scissors so it keeps its shape while you grow it.
Mod cut
Today's take on the 1960s British mod haircut: a longer fringe, a rounded shape and length falling over the ears and nape. Scissors only, no fade, with texture worked in from the inside.
Mullet
Shorter at the front and sides, longer at the nape. We cut it with scissors only, no fade: the shorter part blends softly and with texture into the longer one.
Scissor-only haircut
The whole head is cut with scissors, with no clipper fade. It grows out naturally and still looks tidy weeks later. For short and medium hair.

Short men's haircut
A classic, clean short cut: short sides and nape, a tidy top. Always well-groomed and ready in a few minutes in the morning.
Warrior cut
A low taper at the sides and nape with a longer, textured top and a loose, matte finish. We break up the top with scissors and point cutting.
Taper
The sides and nape only shorten gradually at the hairline, so your head shape stays natural. Works with a short or a longer top.

What does a textured cut mean?
A textured cut isn't a separate style but a technique: with scissors and point cutting we remove weight from the hair so it moves, holds and has a matte, natural finish. It's always part of our precision styles, and of the top of the warrior cut too.
How does it work?
- Consultation: we look at your hair type, your crown and your reference photo if you've brought one.
- Cut: we build the shape with the technique that suits the style – scissors only for precision styles.
- Styling: we show you what to use and how to style it at home in a few minutes.
- Upkeep: shorter styles are usually best refreshed every 3–4 weeks, longer scissor-only styles every 5–8 weeks.

LORINCZ Studio, Almafa utca 33, 1171 Budapest (District XVII, Rákosmente). Monday to Saturday 9:00–21:00, closed on Sunday.
Besides District XVII, we welcome guests from Districts XVI, X and XVIII, as well as from Pécel, Maglód, Ecser, Vecsés, Isaszeg, Kistarcsa, Kerepes, Csömör and Gyömrő.
